INNOVATION & VENTURES
Blockchain
SEIDOR implements blockchain in public, hybrid and private blockchain environments for all types of consortia, including BaaS (e.g. Azure or AWS) and Open Source frameworks.
Integrate blockchain into your business processes with SAP
SEIDOR implements blockchain solutions based on the most common frameworks available today, such as Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum, either with the complete infrastructure or as a Blockchain-as-a-Service model for developers.
We provide consulting services to explore application cases with our clients and determine the best framework and architecture to suit their needs, covering technical work, development and implementation of the project for the consortium, the creation of the smart contracts and the deployment of the solution.
This includes creating web and mobile applications for end users (personal wallet) and administration of the blockchain and associated identity management processes.
We also offer support with integration tools (SAP and non-SAP) to integrate the blockchain into the backend systems of the consortium companies or implement it entirely in some instances.
Each node in the system contains a copy of the digital ledger. Each node must check the validity of a transaction before it is added to the ledger. If the majority of nodes considers it valid, it is added to the ledger. This approach promotes transparency and prevents corruption.
The network is decentralised, meaning that no one has any authority. Instead, a group of nodes maintains the network, making it decentralised.
This results in a fault-tolerant, attack-resistant and transparent network.
As there is no central authority, no one can change the network structure or data for their own benefit. The use of public/private key encryption ensures an additional layer of security for the system.
A distributed ledger is a database that is consensually shared and synchronised across multiple sites. It enables transactions to be publicly "witnessed". The participants at each network node can access and hold an identical copy of the recordings shared across the network.
Circulum is a blockchain-based academic platform where students can view and share certificates issued by universities and interact in a trusted environment without the need for third parties.
