Boyum Support shifts to SAP Business One Version 10 in 2022

New 2022.x range set for release in February 2022

From the early part of next year, Boyum has announced plans to make SAP Business One Version 10 FP2102 the minimum required version to support its products.

The move means support for users running older versions of SAP Business One, such as Version 9.3, will no longer be available from the software developer.

Boyum says the decision will help the company to “deliver held-back features that are dependent on SAP Business One 10.0”.

The move will not impact any existing SAP Business One support or maintenance agreements with SEIDOR UK.

The Boyum range of products is among the most popular within the SAP Business One eco-system. Boyum has more than 8,000 customers globally, and nearly a third of B1 users in the USA, Canada, Australia, Netherlands and the UK use one of the company’s extensions. Products include the popular Usability Pack (B1UP), CRM for Outlook, Beas Manufacturing and Produmex Scan/WMS.

SAP Business One Version 10 was released in general availability in May 2020. Boyum has chosen patch level FP2102 as the minimum SAP release.

The first release of Boyum’s new 2022.x range of products is expected for February 2022, although this date is subject to change.
