Blockchain: What is it and how might it affect us?
The word Blockchain is increasingly in use lately. It is an emerging technology that everyone is hearing about. But what exactly is it? And how could it affect us?
We implement blockchain solutions based on the most used and reputable frameworks today. From the necessary consultancy to analyze the application cases and the decision of the framework and architecture, to the more technical work such as, the development and implementation of the case for the consortium, including the creation of the smart contracts and the deployment of the solution.
Of course, the creation of the end-user web and mobile applications (personal wallet) and administration of the blockchain and all identity management.
We also offer support with integration tools, whether SAP or not, to integrate the deployed blockchain with the backend of enterprise members of the consortium, or implement it completely if known.
Immutability
Each node in the system has a copy of the digital ledger. To add a transaction, each node must verify its validity. If the majority thinks it is valid, it is added to the ledger. This promotes transparency and makes it corruption-proof.
Decentralization

Security and consensus
As there is no central authority, no one can change data or network structure to their advantage. The use of public/private key encryption ensures another layer of security for the system.
Distributed Data
A distributed ledger is a database that is consensually shared and synchronized across multiple sites. It allows transactions to have public “witnesses”. The participant at each node in the network can access the shared recordings across that network and can own an identical copy of it.
An academic platform based on Blockchain, where certificates issued by universities can be accessed, as well as shared with students, stored in a trusted environment with no need for a third party.
