Data architecture modernization at Servihabitat

Servihabitat is a company that provides advanced portfolio management services for corporate, mortgage, and real estate assets throughout their entire value chain or in a modular way based on the client's needs or each project.

In 2022, the company managed over 165,000 real estate and financial assets, with a value of over 20 billion euros. The company sold more than 27,000 units.

Servihabitat has more than 4,404 points of sale nationwide, over 1,000 associated agents (APIs), and 10 proprietary centers.

Why Snowflake?

Servihabitat needed a platform that would allow them to track their assets end-to-end to gain agility in their mass marketing.

For this purpose, a global technological modernization project was launched, with the implementation of Snowflake Cloud, an advanced platform that relies on a corporate data warehouse and business analytics processes.

The areas of real estate asset management, financial management, marketing, and operational monitoring have benefited from this project.

Value proposition

Servihabitat's objective with the new implementation was to reduce infrastructure costs, gain scalability, and improve the user experience, as they were facing performance issues, limited scalability, high costs, and dedicated maintenance with their on-premise SQL platform.

The migration was carried out in two phases, the first included the migration of the database, the corporate data warehouse, and the data loading and modeling processes; the second phase involved the business processes.

Benefits

With the project designed by SEIDOR, Servihabitat has achieved a 75% savings in On-Premise infrastructure costs, as well as simplified maintenance and quick incident resolution.

They have also achieved an ROI estimated at around 230 thousand euros annually, as well as improved response times for analytical processes and increased efficiency in data retrieval.

Snowflake opens the door to using new Cloud-based technological solutions to modernize all technical processes within the organization.
